3 Bodies of Water You Must Visit

If you know us, you know that we love water. We love all water sports, we love spending our days working out in the water, on the water, lounging in the water.

If Atlantis really existed I’d be on the first submarine there. No questions ask, hun sell the house we’re moving to Atlantis.

With that in mind I want to highlight some of the most badass bodies of water going.

Jellyfish Lake, Palau

Jellyfish LakeListen, I hate Jellyfish. I said I loved all things water, I take it back. Jellyfish scare me. I stepped on one in Mexico when I was 13 and since then it’s been a hate-hate relationship with Jellyfish.

So why would I recommend Jellyfish Lake? Well these Jellyfish are unique, their are literally thousands of them. And at first glance that sounds bloody terrifying.
But, and here is the big but. Their sting doesn’t hurt. I have no idea how these things survive, that seems like a pretty important defence mechanism. However, I’m not complaining. Tell the kids to grab their snorkel gear┬ábecause we’re going to check out the Jelly Fish in Palau.

Plitvice Lakes, Croatia

If you don’t believe that paradise exists on earth, you haven’t been to Plitvice Lakes in Croatia. This might be the most beautiful land you’ve ever seen, seriously.

The Plitvice Lakes are made up of 16 individual lakes most of which are connected either through natural dams or tunnels. Depending on the angle you look at the lakes they vary in color. Regardless of whether they are blue or green that day they are stunning. They may not be the most unique bodies of water, but they certainly are among the most beautiful.

The Dead Sea, Jordan & Israel

Most people know about the Dead Sea. They know you can float on top of it which is pretty darn cool. This is due to the amount of salt in the water. If you want to experience the sensation of floating you can go to a float center. The sensation is almost identical, you literally lie on top of the water.

Of course you’re still partially submersed in the water, but the majority of your body will be above it.

The next time you’re traveling consider any three of these destinations. They’re super fun to say the least. Water is such a magical thing and these are three of the world’s coolest version of water.
